Reaching Students Across Greater Philadelphia and Beyond
Our educational programs serve the five-county area of Greater Philadelphia and are appropriate for 5th to 12th-grade students. 2024–2025 school year alone, we conducted 217 programs that reached more than 22,000 attendees.
We offer a variety of educational programs, including eyewitness testimonies, personal interactions with eyewitnesses, two live theater performances, and docent-led museum tours.
Our Programs
Survivor Programs
These eyewitnesses are the richest and best way to learn about the consequences of racism, ethnic cleansing, and intolerance.
Student Programs
We teach the Holocaust through direct student–survivor interaction. Students hear firsthand testimony and form a personal connection.
Tours And Exhibitions
Our museum houses the largest public collection of personal Holocaust artifacts in Philadelphia belonging to families.
In-Person And Virtual Tours Information
Our museum houses the largest public collection of personal Holocaust artifacts in Philadelphia, belonging to survivors, liberators, resistors, and their families.
The artifacts tell individual stories of pre-war European life, ghettos and concentration camps, resistance, liberation, resettlement, and transitions to Philadelphia.
These precious artifacts, documents, and photographs help to share the tragic and inspirational stories of our local survivor community.
We offer personalized in-person or virtual tours for individuals, families, and classes during the week by appointment. These can last anywhere from 30 minutes to more than 2 hours.
