Our survivor presentations are memorable and have great impact on the students and adults who attend them.OUR GOAL:The Holocaust Awareness Museum, and Education Center, located at 10100 Jamison Ave., Suite 210, Philadelphia, PA 19116, is the premier provider of Holocaust education programs in the Delaware Valley. In the last school year alone, HAMEC completed nearly 500 programs and reached over 43,000 students. With implementation currently underway of Pennsylvania’s newly passed Holocaust and Genocide education law, those numbers are expected to increase exponentially. HAMEC recently began connecting with students worldwide through “Microsoft Skype in the Classroom.” Our organization has been dedicated to educating students about the consequences of intolerance and hate. Each year HAMEC programs reach thousands of individuals through Holocaust survivor presentations, school visits, videos, Skype, and plays such as the Anne Frank Theater Project.
